Today I completed my diorama box design. When the day started my plan was to have a mountain range that was overlooked by a temple. The first mountains that I designed did not look realistic
Instead, they had a cartoonish quality. This was not what I was going for and decided to redesign my project. This was unfortified as I had spent the morning on designing this. I then found two images. One was of a mountain range and the other was of a Chinese temple. I traced the images and layered the outlines.The most difficult part was the temple as I am attempting to make the temple on top of the mountain white while the mountain it stands on in brown. The way I plan to do this is to stack two cutouts one with the temple and one without. Unfortunately, the cutouts are slightly off balance and this will be a difficult problem to solve. Overall I am pleased with how my design turned out.
